February 16th

weather: windy and fairly warm when we headed out, but the weather got progressively worse as the day went on. The drive home from Ft Collins was in a blizzard!!

amount spent: $44.92 (+ tax at flea market + Goodwill)

comments: we went to a sale south of Gail and Mick's, then went up to the Goodwill Store in downtown Ft Collins, stopping briefly at the flea markets (on the way) that we visited last week. Gail wanted to buy a small table she saw last week (it was still there!) and we picked up some soap while we were there.

A real bonus this week, Atticus and Felix both helped with the cuuh-logging!
They are sitting on a wool/cashmere plaid skirt which I plan to make into a summer-weight blanket.--$4.99 (Goodwill)

blue/white moose-print cotton lounging pants--$3.99 (Goodwill)
3-3 bar pkgs of Dial for men soap--$1.25 each (flea market)
big tub + unopened bag of Fancy Feast cat food (a favorite around here)--75 cents for all (garage sale)
3 mugs we plan to take to Europe for coffee in the room (and then leave them there)--free (garage sale)
not pictured: a few yards of white tulle--50 cents
(garage sale)

This is a shipping tape dispensing machine, the kind that heats and wets kraft strapping tape--$1 (garage sale)
update: after checking it out, Joe told me this model doesn't heat the water, although a heater add-on is available. So this one just wets and dispenses.

And our trip to Goodwill netted Joe 4 nice tropical and 2 polar fleece shirts--$4.99 each

UPDATE: (7:30 PM) the boys are still sleeping on the plaid skirt:
